In 1979, Barbie Wilde joined SHOCK: a mime/dance/music troupe, which included robotic mimes TIK and TOK, along with Robert Pereno, LA Richards and Carole Caplin. During the early 1980s, SHOCK toured with Depeche Mode & Classix Nouveaux, as well as supporting Adam & The Ants and Ultravox. Shock also supported Gary Numan at Wembley Arena in 1981.
SHOCK released two singles with RCA Records: 'Angel Face' and 'Dynamo Beat' - produced by Richard James Burgess of Landscape ('Einstein A Go-Go'). Barbie went on to write 'Phantom Lady' and 'Metal Man' with Landscape's Burgess and Walters.
In 1986, Miss Wilde was the first classically-trained robotic mime artist to appear in a Bollywood blockbuster,'Janbazz', directed by Feroz Khan. http://www.barbiewilde.com/...
She also robotically mimed with British TV legends Morecambe and Wise, and the famous hand puppet of UK Kids' TV, Sooty.

Barbie has finished her first novel, 'The Venus Complex', a fictionalized journal of a serial killer and is now working on 'Valeska', an erotic vampire novel.

I used to play this music in the clubs in the 80's good to finally see a copy of the video intact. You are correct your group should be up there with Kraftwerk, and Duran Duran.
