i am a multi-media conceptual and sound artist with a background in marine biology and scientific illustration. my work is often inspired by nature, philosophy, and physics, and incorporates both sonic and visual elements.

julian mock is my creative partner, band and studiomate, and constant collaborator.

sonic fabric is a textile woven from 50% cassette tape and 50% polyester thread. this video illustrates how to build a "reader" that will enable the user to listen to the sound embedded in the fabric.
