Beru loses it's energy through out the sheath and even causes the bushing to start blistering. This can cause further problems. Furthermore, concetration of energy on the tip is a benefit, not a disadvantage. Test them yourself.

We sell a parts kit that include the fittings, bypass cap, and shim kit. Retails for $116. You can call our office to order @ (877) 421-3187. Otherwise you can take a #6 Boss O-ring to #8 JIC fittings and port it out with a 3/8 drill bit.
