When the slavery issue was heating up before the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln and other Republicans challenged the character of white southern Democrats who claimed blacks were their 'property' like livestock.
Lincoln brought up the fact that they were having sex with their 'property' or 'livestock', so he asked senator Douglas, during the Lincoln-Douglas debates, if they were criminals or just perverts.
Democrats think fetuses are their 'property' today, like livestock to be slaughtered. And they think they are supposed to have hegemonic control over black people like they did with slavery.
