Yet, I wouldn't call it a first priority by any means. I know of nations which r economic ants, yet they defeated giants. The example of our own Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.W) in the Battle of Badr is before us. Not that I believe economy isn't important, but it comes after Iman and social justice. When those 2 r achieved, the economy shall boom.
As for India's economic strength---that always seems more like a product of media propaganda than reality.
I had once heard Sohni Dharti Allah Rakhe's tune played on guitar, maybe by Salman Ahmed. But I can' find it anywhere, and it was the best tune I had ever heard. I remember there used to be a program "Travel Guide of Pakistan" on PTV, I heard it in one of the programs. Could you please use your "sources" and find that great tune.
P.S. It was not a song, just the guitaring of Sohni Dharti!
Hmmm...Economy? The first thing I can think of is to put death sentence on corruption! Well that is a thing too far to implement, but corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, generals and landlords are our biggest threat to economy! There has to be a revolution-A peaceful civilian revolution! But now I think we as individuals should be strong enough to atleast do social boycott of our friends and relatives who we are sure that they are corrupt! And unfortunately I am not too much hopeful about anything from our "leaders"! You see the Iran pipeline should have been completed by now, but these corrupt people just are too useless. They do a week's work in months! Also we should have been relying on other markets an friends apart from USA. What are your suggestions?
