Ace of Base 2008 Redefined!

Seldom has a band been so eagerly awaited. But now the wait is over; pop phenomena Ace of Base is back on the international music scene, this time as trio consisting of Jenny and Jonas Berggren and Ulf Ekberg.
The band still holds the world record for the most selling debut album of all time; Happy Nation (The Sign), which sold over 23 million copies and went gold and platinum in over 40 countries. In 1993, Ace of Base stayed no 1 for 6 weeks on Billboards single and album list with The Sign and sold, as the first non-American band ever, diamond with the album.

In 1993 they where nominated in the USA for 2 Grammy Awards, won 2 American Music Awards, 2 Billboard Awards and 7 World Music Awards. 2000, both All that she wants and The Sign ended up on Billboards top ten of the most played songs ever in America. Ace of Base have reached the no 1-chart position worldwide and released 4 albums and 1 "best of" album with 4 new songs. Ace of Base have sold almost 60 million albums and singles and have contributed songs to over 750 million sold compilation albums!

Ace of Base are currently on a hugely successful and sold out try-out tour in Eastern Europe and Asia started Nov of last year which has shown that their following is still as strong and young as ever! The completely revamped band is simultaneously working on a completely new album scheduled for a release next year, and in the meantime theres a greatest hits album + DVD and the WOF 2009 single to be released this month, where they have remixed and rerecorded their past mega hits such as "The Sign", "Dont turn around" and "Wheel of Fortune".

Ace of Base has always been involved with various charities and initiatives around the world to make this world a better one. This positive social commitment has now found a new home in the global ambassadorship of the "AGoodCause" organization which is a modern styled charity, tied in all sorts of manufacturers and other consumer organizations and which uses a novel and modern way of integrating charity with the daily life on the web. In October Ace of Base also partnered up with YouTube and created their own channel www.youtube.com/aceofbase.
