About Me:

I just turned 17 (August 21, 2009) today. Originally from Kashmir, but have never went there except for once when I was 3. Used to live in Virginia. Currently living in Maryland. Student of Karim Abu Zaid, who is currently the Imam @ a Masjd in Maryland, called PGMA, [may Allah preserve him]. He is indescribable. Please check out, www.karimabuzaid.com

Also check out darussalaam.org if you have time. * Imaam Safi Khan is the Imaam @ Dar-us-Salaam, a Masjid near to PGMA. I swear by Allah, an amazing Imaam and scholar. In all honesty, I simply have never seen anyone that compares to him. And Dar-us-Salaam is out of this world! Beautiful.

Please see: http://learnaboutislam.org

Khaatim of Quran, striving to be a Haafizh. Have a younger brother who is on the path of becoming a Khaatim, Allah willing.

By the way -- I want you to check out this website made by Br. Arif Kabir (who is also a Khaatim of the Quran, from Dar-us-Salaam). Its for the youth, and generally for everyone else as well. Here's the link: youthmusings.wordpress.com * I am one of the writers for this website. Check it out :)

The # 1, the sole and only real purpose of humankind is to do 'Ibaadah to their Lord, their Creator, Sustainer, Cherisher, Provider, King, Owner, Master, etc (God). So my main interest, may Allah help me and everyone, is to worship Him in reality, obey Him, follow Him, become totally dedicated and devoted to Him, submit to Him alone, follow His guidance and that of the Noble Prophets (صلوات الله وسلامه عليهم) & Messengers whom He chose from among mankind and sent to them; the last of them being Muhammad Ibn Abdullah. Secondly, and this goes side by side with the above, learning al-'ilm (knowledge). Studying the Qur'aan and its sciences (i.e. tafseer, qiraa'aat, other 'uloom). And studying the Sunnah of the Messenger, his hadeeths, and this entire vast science (isnaads, takhreej, etc). Reading his Seerah, as well as the lives of his Companions, the Tabi'oon [successors], our righteous predecessors, and the 4 great Imaams of this Ummah (may Allah be pleased with them); Abu Haneefah, Maalik, Shaafi'ee', Ahmad and others. Also, to review my Qur'aan. At the least, 2 Juz' of the Quran per day (the Quran has 30 Juz'). And fyi, each Juz' consists of 30 pages. Also, to attend the gatherings of the People of Knowledge and benefit. Also, to follow up on the great Qurraa' of this time, Shaykh Mishary Al-Afasy (حفظه الله), 'Abdur-Rahmaan as-Sudais and Su'ood ash-Shuraim (and others) in Makkah. As well as some Qurraa' from Egypt (may Allah preserve them), etc.And lastly, if there's any time left over, then running, exercising, swimming, etc. For if one has the right intention behind this, Allah will reward him/her for it as well. If one plays sports, with the intention that it will make one stronger, so one can worship Allah better ~ then Allah rewards the person for that. The same goes for eating and sleeping and other normal actions too. Thus, a real Muslim's life is all considered worship (if the person has the right intention behind their actions), and thus every aspect of it is rewarded! This is the favor from Allah, our Merciful Lord: hence a Muslim's entire life can be rewarded.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَدَعَ شَيْئًا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلاَّ أَبْدَلَكَ اللهُ بِهِ مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْهُ

There is nothing that you give up for the sake of Allaah, but Allaah will compensate you with something that is better for you than it. رواه الإمام أحمد 20222 ، وصححه الألباني

For all non-Muslims, fellow human beings, who view my channel:

Al-Bukhaari & Muslim both recorded in their "Saheehs" (this is the highest level of authenticity in narration), from the Companion of the Prophet, `Abdullaah Ibn `Umar (and also `Abdullaah Ibn Mas'ood) -- that in one of the battles (in the aftermath of the battle)... وجدت امرأة مقتولة a woman was found killed. And the people had gathered around her (and they made way for the Prophet). When Prophet saw this فأنكر رسول الله The Messenger of Allah found this to be very immoral & he became extremely upset, very angry at this sight. And he forbade the killing of women & children فنهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن قتل النساء والصبيان

Hence, according to Islam - it's totally Forbidden to kill women/children, whether in times of war (or on the battlefield, or elsewhere). * Whether a Muslim or a non-Muslim. The Prophet did not ask, upon seeing the dead woman, "Was she a Muslim or not?" And if she was a non-Muslim, he would say it is permissible in this case. No!! Religion doesn't matter in this area! He saw a woman, a fellow human being, killed & he became soo upset.

Prophet Muhammad categorically prohibited this (killing Women/Children) on more than 1 occasion. * The only possible exception to this may be, if a woman was in the battlefield coming to attack you. For in some narrations, which are authentic according to the criteria of Al-Bukhaari & Muslim, as Ibn Al-Mulqin pointed out -- the Prophet Muhammad, upon seeing the killed woman, said to his Companions: ما كانت هذه تقاتل "She was not a combatant. She was not fighting!! فلم قتلت So why did you kill her?"

In the "Musnad" of Imaam Ahmad (8/173) - and the scholar of hadeeth, Shaykh Ahmad Shaakir said about this hadeeth: "Its chain of narration is authentic." - `Abdullaah Ibn `Umar narrated:

مر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بامرأة يوم فتح مكة مقتولة فقال ما كانت هذه تقاتل! ثم نهى عن قتل النساء والصبيان

"The Messenger of Allah (Muhammad) passed by a woman, on the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, who had been killed. Upon seeing her, the Prophet said to his Companions: "She was not a combatant. She was not fighting!!" Then he forbade the killing of women and children."

"If you're not kind, you're the wrong kind."

"The graves of sinners from the People of Sunnah is a garden, while the graves of the pious ascetics from the People of Innovation is a barren pit. The sinners among Ahlus-Sunnah are the Friends of Allaah, while the pious among Ahlul-Bid'ah are the Enemies of Allaah."

-- Quote from the great Imaam, Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (رحمه الله).

The great Imaam, Abu Haneefah said:

عليك بالأثر, وطريق السلف, وإياك وكل محدثة فإنها بدعة

"Adhere to the narrations & way of the Salaf (righteous predecessors), and beware of newly invented matters in the religion, for indeed they are all Bid'ahs!"

For all Shi'ites who view my channel:

This narration I'm about to quote (below) is at the top level of authenticity. Recorded in the most authentic book after the Qur`aan, "Saheeh Al-Bukhaari" (# 3671). And it was also recorded by Imaam Abu Daawood in his "Sunan" (# 4629), and he said that it is صحيح [authentic] as did a contemporary hadith scholar, Imaam Al-Albaani, in "Saheeh Abi Daawood" (# 4629).

The narrator is, Muhammad Ibn Al-Hanafiyyah ~ one of the sons of the great Companion, the 4th Islamic Caliph, `Ali Ibn Abi Taalib (cousin of the Prophet Muhammad). And Muhammad Ibn Al-Hanafiyyah was born 15 years after Hijrah. He was a righteous Muslim & a brave son of `Ali Ibn Abi Taalib.
abdelbaasit1 (2 months ago)
Muhammad Ibn Al-Hanafiyyah narrates: "I said to my father (`Ali Ibn Abi Taalib), أي الناس خير بعد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم 'Who is the best man after the Messenger of Allah?' He said to me, أبو بكر "Abu Bakr." I asked, 'Then who?' He said: ثم عمر "Then `Umar." * Muhammad Ibn Al-Hanafiyyah says: ثم خشيت أن أقول: ثم من? فيقول عثمان 'Then I was afraid that if I asked him, 'Then who?' - he would say "`Uthmaan."' So I said: ثم أنت يا أبة؟ 'Then you my beloved father?' He (`Ali Ibn Abi Taalib) said: ما أنا إلا رجل من المسلمين "I'm only a man from amongst the Muslims."

Talk about humility! This is unbelievable. This man was the cousin of the Prophet of Allah, was married to the daughter of the Prophet, was the 4th Khaleefah & Leader of the Muslims, and yet, he's teaching his son to be humble & not boast or claim superiority over others. We should respect others & not be arrogant.

In Saheeh al-Bukhaari & Muslim, from the Companion - `Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab, who narrated that on one occasion, the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) saw a woman looking for her young child in a crowd... when she finally found her infant (near a fire), she rushed to pick him up & she brought him close to herself and began to breastfeed him.

The Prophet Muhammad turned to his Companions & said: أترون هذه المرأة طارحة ولدها في النار؟ "Do you think that this mother would ever throw her child into the fire?" The Companions said: لا والله "No, we swear by Allah - she would never do that & she would never allow her child to fall into the fire as long as she is able to prevent him." The Messenger of Allah then said: فوالله لله أرحم بعباده من هذه بولدها "I swear by Allah! Certainly, Allah is more merciful with His servants than this mother is with her child!"
