The UFCW Professional Division serves the unique requirements and needs of UFCW pharmacists with the overall goal of keeping the profession strong, respected and well-compensated.
To accomplish this goal, the UFCW Professional Division has over 100 highly-experienced and professional union representatives in California whose sole purpose is to represent pharmacists' rights. The UFCW also has full-time lobbyists in Sacramento and Washington D.C. to monitor and promote pro-pharmacist legislation. In addition, the UFCW has secured positions on the California State Board of Pharmacy to protect and improve pharmacists' professional practice.
