Chuncheon, South Korea Free Hugs Campaign prcrossman - 2,298 views - 1 year ago
In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign have become phenomenal.

On March 22nd, 2008, myself and thirteen others took to the streets of Chuncheon, South Korea in what may have been the largest free hugs campaign ever in South Korea. Young, old, male, female, across cultures, languages and skin colors we hugged and hugged and hugged. Smile after smile this was truly a very special time. Many thanks to everyone who came out and participated and, of course, many thanks to Juan Mann for his inspiration.

My ongoing resume to get Bae Yong Joon (BYJ) to hire me as his personal chef. : ) I think of my cooking as American foods with Korean flavours. I read cookbooks the way most people will read novels, history books, religion books or even dictionaries. I read cookbooks just to learn, even if I never make the particular cuisine.

Tamar,
Have you watched K-drama 'City Hall' (romantic comedy on politics.. may be inspired by US election last year???) ? The drama is awesome (no dragging) ! Highly recommended if you have a chance! Main actors are Cha Seung Won and Kim Sun Ah, both are top notch...
