I watched the Seattle Opera's Ring cycle about a week ago and I would have to say that it was mindblowing (maybe there is the fact that its my first live Ring experience). Wotan (Grimsley) and Brunnhilde (Baird) was great! Not to mention the man who was singing as Hagen/Fasolt.

Wonderful music here!

I completely agree with the statement above. Greer Grimsley is one best baritones I have ever heard. He was amazing in the 2005 Ring as well as Lohengrin, The Flying Dutchman, Parsifal, Tristan, Tosca, and Faust. Seattle is blessed to have an individual with so much talent sing so often with the opera. I wish he would do some recordings specifically of Lohengrin and the Ring.

I am a huge fan of Mr. Greer Grimsley and the work he has done with with Wagner in this country. I was fortunate enough to be a supernumerary in Dutchman in Pittsburgh about 4 years ago when he was there but I have haven't heard him since. I would be very grateful if you posted anything of his on here.
