Sarah Wooton Garrod, Chief Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, discusses South Carolinas Palmetto Regiment during the Mexican War, the subject of a new traveling exhibit The Forgotten War: The Palmetto Regiment and the Mexican War. She also details a newly acquired letter that will be on display with the exhibit. This letter was written by Lieutenant John B. Moragne of Abbeville, SC, in 1847, while he served at Vera Cruz.
