Good to hear from you Chris, hope your well. Funny you should say that, as we always joke that over in the states that you lot always carry more gear! (Not saying it's true or anything!). Yeah I personally don't tend to call it Survival, it's 'Bushcraft' to me, yet that term in itself is broad and encompasses a lot!.. I've got an article on my website called "What is Bushcraft" which tries to get over what Bushcraft means to me. All the best bud,

Ashley.

hey ashley long time no talk, well good to see your channel is attracting attention. I have realized somthing, ppl from europe most of the time tend to carry alot more stuff then us yanks over here in the states. BUT we call it survival over here weras you guys call it bushcrafting.

Hi PerrenEcho , thanks for your comments. One of the best starting knives you can get are the Mora blades (a search for Mora on YouTube will bring up dozens of reviews on these knives). They do many different models, so have a look on line and see what takes your fancy. All their knives have excellent blades, and most models come in at around £10. As far as Tarps and firesteeels are concerned, ebay will give you the most choices regarding style and choice. Alternatively, pop over to our website www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk and you can enter our free competition to win a firesteel and knife :)

Best wishes, Justin (NaturalBushcraft)

Thank you for the comment, i have always enjoyed the outdoors, and have just recently started, to get really into bushcraft, just using a pen knife, however i really could do with a few better tools, could you tell me a good starting fixed blade knife? Also any online shops you would recommend for a basha and fire-steel? I really enjoy your videos and your website thanks alot for the time you put in to do them.
