hey m8, I saw your comment on AnglicanApologist72's channel. I just want to point out that a lot of the high church anglican/catholicism that you were most likely part of can be very contradictory to the bible. A main uniqueness of Christianity is that its not about man desperately trying to reach God, it's not as though you possibly have a chance in earning yourself 'heaven' e.g Islam (you have to be more than 50% good). Jesus died because he realised we have no chance. I have to go to these high church anglican/catholic ceremonies every week (we are forced), and I find some of the stuff going on is very disturbing. All I can say is that I completely understand why you would give up being a priest. I also go to a vibrant youthful church, which really speaks truth, rather than hundreds of unnecessary rituals. peace man, no harm meant

I have no "wishful thinking". In fact, I sometimes wish my religion was wrong, and that's our nature. It's this wishful thinking that attacks me and I fight it off, by the grace of God. You can say I'm delusional, but I feel I have good reasons for why I believe. No, it's not the reason that the universe couldn't have been created from nothing or could have eternally existed, or the reason that the Bible is true because it says so, or any other reason of a fundamentalist. If you ever wanted to talk about this I'm open, but leaving such a comment on my channel page, while it's entirely fine and permitted, will not set well with me as a firm believer in the truth. Yes, I'll listen to your side if you wish for me to do so, but you'll have to listen to mine too.

I feel sorry for You because You don't believe in Jesus Christ! Everything written down in The Sacred Scriptures is True and coming to pass and His return is near. No The Lord Jesus does not want to establish a 1 World Government! He wants us to repent of our sins & follow Him and serve Him. How can You compare Jesus Christ to a dictator when all He has done is show You love. For it is a gift from God that You were even born. You have a choice. You can choose Eternal Life with The Creator in His coming Kingdom or You can choose Hell with Satan who wants to destroy Your Body and soul for all Eternity. I choose Eternal Life with Jesus Christ because He died for me and He is The Truth, The Way, and The Life. Peace.

Aha, so I guess you have your BA or MA in theology although you believe now that the Bible is just a collection of fairy tales. How did you then get your teaching job? Are you still using your diploma in fairy tales to get your life going? Is that honest?

We've never been known for good taste. That song was actually written circa 1998 or so. So the only real reference to Ted was about his car accident. The cancer line referred to his sons bone cancer. That's not much better. The idea of it was to list the tragedies that have befallen the family in rhyme. It was not meant to rejoice in it or say they deserved it in any way. I'm afraid many are politicizing it for the wrong reasons. Several folks that knew us and were aware of the song pushed us to get it out there. We were perhaps naive in doing so I'm afraid.
