Welcome to Irving ISD Career and Technical Education ! These videos will provide students, parents, faculty and business partners with a wealth of information regarding CTE programs, student organizations, careers, postsecondary options and other valuable resources. All of the Career and Technical programs are designed to prepare our students for a lifetime of success. Every student can benefit from one or more of the many opportunities available through the 16 Career Cluster "pathways", which are offered through Irving ISD's CTE programs. CTE courses prepare ALL students for postsecondary education, career preparation and advancement, high-demand employment and active citizenship. CTE supports the belief that the curricula of the 21st century should combine rigorous academics with relevant career education. CTE programs are evaluated annually to ensure that all programs are meeting the needs of the students and community, as well as addressing the high-demand, high-wage occupational opportunities of the future.
It is the mission of the IISD Parent Involvement Program to build bridges of communication between the home and the schools by helping our parents remove the challenges and obstacles that impede this from happening. As we implement our mission we are committed to treating all families with equality, dignity and respect.
