Man Can they make an HTC DROID ERIS in gsm version? or an HD2 with android! I like the american versions of the Hero, the old one looks like a white brick and the chin looks strange on the pocket

Having been able to see this phone while recently overseas, and not being able to get an iPhone in my area at home, I was stoked to hear it was going to be available through my current carrier as of 11.27.09

Well I get there only to find the version of this phone we get in the states loses all the originality and sexiness of design the original has ... let's just call it nondescript aka UGLY.

Thanks a lot HTC and whoever was responsible for screwing up the aesthetics of the Hero, guess I have to wait for someone else to be bold.

Disappointed.

i love this ad, and i love that song. the htc phones look cool, and i am sure they are good devices. what makes them good is that they are the closest thing to an iphone out there, besides the iphone. so if you must choose an iClone, rather than an iPhone, then go for HTC. or the motorola droid. but if you want the best mobile device in existence, go for the iPhone.
