Originally from the L.A. area, Rich Severson has been a full time professional musician and guitar teacher for over 30 years. Rich has toured with many of the great Rock n Roll oldies. He also taught in Hollywood at the Musicians Institute (GIT) and at Fresno Pacific University where he also directed the jazz band. He has written books for major publishers and for over 20 years has published his own instructional materials at www.GuitarCollege.com. He performs locally in Fresno/Yosemite area variety of venues from solo guitar to big band orchestras. For the past fifteen years Rich has been playing guitar in church, serving as the band director and guitarist at Northside Christian Church for seven years and is currently playing at Northwest Church in Fresno. Rich is endorsed by Hofner Guitars which takes him throughout the U.S. and Canada instructing and playing at variety Christian worship conferences, guitar shows and clinics. He also hosts an annual Guitar College Jazz Workshop in the Yosemite area. At home in his studio he is continually producing new lessons for www.GuitarCollege.com and his new website www.99centGuitarLessons.com. Rich also writes an article regularly for Christian Musician Magazine and contributes to Just Jazz Guitar Magazine
