So the Hawians are Latino? Hispanic? It is said an off shoot of African and asian ?

unfortunately Hawaiians are no more, now there are so many blends. Everyone is equal now, the aumakua of old are departed. Today, Hawaii is for everyone, and I am Hawaiian. Even to so called royal family, Kawananakoa's are not of pure ancestry, and may not have much Hawaiian at all. It is over. Sad, but true.

Thanks so much for putting this on the net for everyone. I only recently became interested enough to focus on Hawaiian history (moved to mainland before taking Hawaiian history in high school) because of this site and my fathers own take on the matter.

That being said, I have got to say that "you catch more flies with honey" might work better than words which are deliberately (however true they are) antagonistic. I have been vaguely aware of Hawaii's plight my whole life, but still have to squelch the reaction to automatically change the channel, when I hear words like "fake state." The people I have referred to the foundations channel have expressed a sympathy, yet also made this same observation about fishing with better bait.

You are probably already aware of this and accounted for it in the overall game plan... but I just wanted to give my opinion.
