What is Fashion News Live and who is Rocco G?

Rocco G was already communicating with world before he could even speak. Raised with three other siblings in Florida, Rocco G hand signed with his mother, who is deaf, before the age of one. Perhaps it was this early stage of communication, and sensitivity that makes him so successful at exclusive, one-on-one interviews with world-renowned fashion designers, celebrities and just plain every day folk.

The red carpet has never looked this good, welcoming the charming Creator/Host Rocco G of Fashion News Live. His infectious smile, explosive personality and on-camera talent's uniqueness explodes on scene, bringing the self-assuredness of Donald Trump balanced with the finesse and style of Carson Daly. His strikingly good looks and charismatic personality are a blend of his family 's Italian heritage. Rocco G's drive and ambition were proven at an early age when he earned a spot in the Junior Olympics Tae Kwon Do. He is tenacious and has a "never give up" attitude that brought him to Europe at the age of 17, after being graduated from high school a year early.

With only $400 in his pocket, Rocco G set out to Italy with his dream of pursuing a successful career in the modeling industry. The journey wasn't easy, fraught with hurdles, and receiving rejection after rejection from many modeling agencies. He persevered and "Fashion" signed Rocco G and decided to take a chance on the young model hopeful.

Success soon followed, and Rocco G found himself booked with agencies in Europe and lived and worked in Paris, Zurich, Athens, Amsterdam and Germany. He ultimately returned to the States and was signed to Boss Models in Miami and Zoli in New York.

While working between the States and Europe, Rocco G came across a camera during a stay at a local hotel in Munich and a new passion was born. He divided his time between modeling, photography and styling. His fashion photography/styling has appeared in such publications such as Playboy, OceanDrive and Maxim. Wary of burning bridges, Rocco G often modeled under an alias to avoid conflicts with the same photographers who were also shooting him.

After a successful career both in front and behind the lens, Rocco G decided to open his own production studio at the famed Universal Studios in Orlando. His concept for a fashion magazine transformed into a television pilot and eventually evolved into Fashion News Live: The TV show, which appeared on the UPN network. Rocco G became the creator and host and found himself interviewing fashion icons from Niki Taylor to Naomi Campbell, as well as designers and celebrities ranging from Vera Wang to Betsey Johnson and Diddy to Dr. Ruth. He was recently appeared on the Dr. Phil show as a fashion expert.
