The UN is an cesspool of politics run by governments. If history teaches anything, it's that government is not the friend of liberty. When they do stuff like this, they don't just need to be told about it, they need to be punished for it. Your putting these videos on youtube made that happen by embarrassing them to the point that their lives will be forever defined by this moment. You are Canada's Tank Man.

When agents of the state become so accustomed to oppressing the population that they don't even recognize they're doing it and when the citizens become so acclimated to the oppression that they don't even think about it, then the entire country is already too far down the slope toward tyranny to be saved. There is no doubt in my mind that this woman is utterly clueless when it comes to the meaning and indispensable nature of free expression. The very best you can say about her is that she's a mindless automaton. The worst is that she's an enthusiastic state-hired assassin of free thought.

I'm a very liberal person that agrees entirely with what you've said in these videos Ezra. Freedom of speech is the single greatest right we have. I have to say that so-called liberals that consider these cartoons to be hate-speech have absolutely NO concept of what liberalism is actually about.
