I create high-quality fractal animations, mainly deep zoom animations of the Mandelbrot set fractal. I strive to create videos that are simple, clean illustrations of the structures of the fractals, rather than complex layerings. It's sort of a minimalist esthetic.

I am expanding my repertoire to include parameter animations and convergent fractals. Some of these can be truly breathtaking, and I've ignored this group too long.

I've had an interest in the Mandelbrot set for many years, both as a visual art form and as a technical programming challenge. After spending many years in physics and engineering, I have now moved into medicine and am finishing training as a pathologist. I still keep my software and math skills active by working on developing new and interesting ways to animate the Mandelbrot set.
