We are Eastern Iowa's first, last and only line of comedic defense. Disguised as an improvisational comedy troupe, Comics In Action is a top secret government organization designed with the sole purpose of making you laugh.

Initially conceived by Abe Peterka, along with his friends, Chris Hanel, Stephen Phelan and Josh Wasta in 2003-04. Comics In Action enjoys performing short-form impov while tipping its hat to every spy/sci-fi/comedy film. Although we are not performing as many open shows to the public, we have been doing extremely well in the corporate market.... 'cause that's where the money is.
