Armitage Gone! Dance is a contemporary dance company based in New York City directed by choreographer, Karole Armitage. It tours nationally and internationally featuring cutting edge choreography with sets by important contemporary artists. The eight member company dancers come from several countries and have diverse dance backgrounds, though all are primarily trained in classical ballet. Armitage regularly directs opera and has served as Director of the Ballet of Florence, Italy, the Venice Bienale of Contemporary Dance and worked with pop stars Madonna and Michael Jackson.
