The Actors' Gang

The Actors Gang is a community-based ensemble theater that is a forum for new voices, creative vision, and original plays. Founded in 1981 by a group of renegade theatre artists, the Gang's mission is to create bold, original works for the stage and daring reinterpretations of the classics. One of the signatures of The Actors' Gang is its acting method which we call the style. It is a unique fusion of the broad physicality of Commedia delArte, punk rock, California cinema, and the intense discipline of heightened emotional reality.
