Abraham-Hicks Publications has been presenting the "Teachings of Abraham" for 25 years, during which time Esther and Jerry Hicks have conducted up to 60 workshops a year, published more than 700 audio & video recordings, and written nine books - the last five of which have been New York Times' Best Sellers.

The Teachings originate with "Non-Physical Source Energy" who communicate blocks of thought to Esther, and refer to themselves in the plural as "Abraham". Some people have called this process "channeling", but Esther does not prefer this word to describe what she does, since it connotates things to many people that are not true to her experience - for instance, she maintains that she is not in a "trance".
