Traditional Taekwondo Ramblings

Hi there, and welcome to The Traditional Taekwondo Ramblings Channel. Here we are busy doing what we love, namely; researching the history, philosophy and practical application of Taekwondo. My background in Taekwondo is in traditional Kukki Taekwondo, often called WTF or just WT Taekwondo these days. I therefore primarily study the KTA (Korean Taekwondo Association) Poomsae, the Taegeuk and Judanja/ Black belt Poomsae, but I also have a great interest in history, so I do also study older Kwan (schools) forms, such as Chulgi, Ban Wol and others, as well as my own teachers creation the Soak Am Ryu.

In the Taekwondo circles I "hang out in" I am known as a kind of Taekwondo nerd, or one who takes great interest in theory, but I also have a very strong interest in pragmatism, and practical applications of poomsae.
