We’re the Nathan's! 

We're excited to share that we recently updated this channel name from "The Nathan's Art" to "Plaid Sofa Studios" as we are now expanding and organizing our studio brand onto the world wide web by offering some of works for sale! Check out plaidsofastudios.com to find original works and reproduction prints fresh from our studio. 

A little bit about us, Ben prefers printmaking, paper making, drawing and painting. We post content about Ben's current projects sometimes. He has  a Masters in Fine Art with an emphasis in Printmaking and teaches classes at the university level. 

Mel prefers portraits and painting. She has no formal training and has had to learn one step at a time. Without space to oil paint these days, she has transitioned to painting digitally. She really enjoys making and sharing her digital timelapse's.
