Nondestructive Testing Using Microwaves

This channel concerns the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of components using microwaves. Microwaves are electromagnetic waves in the frequency range from 300 MHz to 300 GHz. In contrast to microwave ovens in the kitchen, microwave testing uses low power and is harmless to people. Microwave testing is especially suited to test plastic and other non-conducting components.

This cannel has two sections. The first channel section is a series of tutorials for microwave testing.

The targets of the second channel section are videos of industrial applications of microwave testing which are in use. All who can contribute to the channel in this sense are invited to do so. Please contact johann.hinken@fitm.de
