Crescent Hill United Methodist Church

In 1887, nine charter members started meeting in a little school house 
on Vernon Avenue where they organized the Crescent Hill Methodist 
Episcopal Church.  Several years later in 1890, a site was purchased for
 the building of a sanctuary at Frankfort and South Ewing Avenues.  
Expansion and growth prevailed until 1922 when the lot for the present 
building was purchased.  Worship in the current building began in 1927. 
 In June of 1992, Clifton Heights United Methodist Church merged with 
Crescent Hill Methodist Church.  From our strong past, we have done well
 with our talents and resources to become a living church.  Today we 
continue into the 21st century,  with a strong commitment to affirm the 
“teachings of Christ” in our daily living.
