Bel Dub Labs

Channel about the music of Bel Dub Labs and all related events

The music of Bel Dub Labs was inevitable. It had its roots in the small town of Bel, part of the city of Geel, Belgium. Which happens to be the location for one of the oldest and best Reggae festivals in the world, @Reggae Geel, which has always hosted roots reggae artists and other styles like Dub, Dancehall, Ska, etc ..

So of course this music is inspired by the festival. By the music played there, the people, the food, the culture. But especially by the music played on the camp sites. There was a tradition of people bringing their own self built sound systems, blasting out DUB music. And you always discovered new and exiting music there.
