Alder Springs Deaf and Blind Community

Alder Springs Deaf and Blind Community is a non-profit community for the Deaf, DeafBlind, Blind, and Hard of Hearing. It is near the heart of charming downtown Morganton, North Carolina. It is an independent living community that has one or two-bedroom rental apartments. Advanced technologies throughout will facilitate communication and assure safety and security. It is not a HUD project: It is a non-profit (501 (c)(3)), developed and owned by the North Carolina School for the Deaf at Morganton Foundation. It was constructed with private donations. Occupancy revenues from Alder Springs are used for the community's maintenance and expansion and to enrich the educational experience of NCSD-Morganton students.
