The Southern Homes Real Estate Team

Baton Rouge area real estate: homes for sale across East Baton Rouge, Ascension, Livingston, and beyond, plus what it’s really like to live here, from The Southern Homes Real Estate Team (formerly Southern Homes Team). Gold Winner, Best Real Estate Team, Best of Baton Rouge 2025 & 2026.

I’m Tracy Mathis, Owner/Broker, REALTOR®. My husband Cory and I have owned our independent, LREC-licensed brokerage since 2010. We serve Baton Rouge, Prairieville, Gonzales, Denham Springs, Walker, Zachary, the Felicianas, New Roads, Lafayette, and Greater New Orleans, with Spanish- and Vietnamese-speaking agents.

With 19 years in real estate and 12 years as a mortgage loan officer, I know USDA, VA, FHA, jumbo, and first-time buyer loans from the lender’s side of the table.
