Bachelor in meteorology from the Federal University of Alagoas, M.Sc and PhD from the National Institute for Space Research (CPTEC/INPE) with a sandwich period (1 year) at the Max Planck-Institute Für Meteorologie, in Germany.
I appreciate meteorology for its scientific challenges and the multidisciplinarity involved. The weather and climate have helped write the history of life on Earth. Human beings created a dependence on information from atmospheric conditions for transportation, cultivation, wars, logistics, and health, among others. Studying this thin gaseous layer that keeps us alive is extremely fascinating.
