Prevent the Aftermath

Prevent the Aftermath, Inc. (PTA) is a non profit organization dedicated to researching and implementing processes that prevent active shooter violence and any other form of targeted active violence. PTA provides comprehensive training to law enforcement, mental health professionals, and prosecuting attorneys in the U.S. and abroad to help them recognize, assess, and deter potential active shooter violence based in part on research from the FBI, CISA, and the US Secret Service. PTA expects to offer training to civilian organizations such as Businesses (Small or Large), Security and Human Resources professionals, Schools, and Houses of Worship. 

PTA advocates for police agencies to adopt standardized response plans and policies to guide investigative efforts when confronted with individuals suspected of planning to commit targeted active violence.
