PAPER PLAY STUDIOS

Paper Play Studios is a human-led cinematic multiverse created by Alain Gervais.

Our films, episodes, and Shorts tell connected fictional stories across fractured realities, following David, Zero, One, Momma Wood, TV Head, the Archivist, and others.

David is a fictional animated YouTuber and the in-universe host of Paper Play. He draws while playing frightening games because it helps him cope with hallucinations. As the games begin changing his room, drawings, and recordings, he discovers their characters may be real.

Shorts may place you inside these fictional events as a hero, child, living doll, or something reality was never meant to preserve.

Within the story, every event is real, every world is connected, and some characters are trying to escape.

All characters, games, recordings, and supernatural events are fictional and created for entertainment. This series is not intended to deceive.

Please enjoy.
