Office Hours with the Mad Professor

My name is Liam O'Mara and I am a history professor in southern California. My YouTube channel will see me talking about things that interest me -- news, politics, economics, religion, philosophy, sexuality, music, Middle East and European history, biology, art, literature, etc. I write and teach cultural and intellectual history (i.e., the history of ideas), and my areas of emphasis are the Middle East, Europe, the ancient world, and world history. My videos here -- like with my lectures -- will touch on a wide variety of subjects, all from the historian's perspective. I hope you enjoy them. This is my first foray into digital video and I am learning a lot from each one.
