The Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) helps Iowa's individuals and families achieve safe, stable, self-sufficient, and healthy lives, thereby contributing to the economic growth of the state. DHS has the following six divisions: Iowa Medicaid Enterprise, Mental Health and Disability Services, Adult Children and Family Services, Field Operations, Data Management, and Fiscal Management.
