Aparna Raj for Ward 1

Aparna Raj is a tenant organizer, union member, democratic socialist, and the proud daughter of immigrants running for DC Council in Ward 1. It should be easier and more affordable to live here. Aparna is running to stop major rent hikes by expanding rent control and creating more housing, funding free childcare for every family in DC, and fighting to protect immigrants and support federal workers under attack. Our government should work for us.

A better world is possible! ☀️
