Adv. Y Vinod Kumar

A Chemistry and Law graduate (Calicut University), Adv. Y Vinod Kumar practiced as an advocate in Kerala’s Subordinate Courts for 10 years before joining the High Court Service. He later served at Kannur University, retiring from a Gazetted rank.

Currently, he serves on the Government of Kerala’s Multi-Disciplinary and Drafting Committees for anti-ragging laws, formed per High Court mandates. He authored the pioneering book Ragging and Safeguards Under Law, featuring a foreword by Justice J.B. Koshy.

A respected legal educator, he has conducted campus sensitization programs, lectured for the Kerala Police Janamaithry project, and presented papers at national and international seminars.
