We wander upon that lonely hour

where time is suspended 'twixt dark and dawn,

When mists of grey veil the sleeping flower

and the vibrant colors of day are gone.

We gather the songs of that ancient land

from the mountains, canyons, valleys, and streams,

In the crumbling ruins of castles we stand

by shadows of prophets, peasants, and kings.

Yet in such enchantment we cannot stay

for we are mortal, and bound to the earth

When that hour wanes we must turn away

and rise like the rest to business and work.

In between two worlds, we live and conceal

that our lives are a dream...

And our dreams, are real.

	PaulDRooney (4 weeks ago) okay i've had a look there are two sharps next to the trebble cleff and the last note is E. Maybe we could talk more about this collaboration hehe.
	PaulDRooney (4 weeks ago) the time signature is 6/8 i'm afraid i dunno how to work out the key of music so i can't say. The story goes that Brian McNeil (fiddle player for the Battlefield Band at the time) was told about this great tree near Ormiston next to the St. Giles church ruins in East Lothian, Scotland. He was told by a man in neighbouring Pencaitland and also quite interesting historically John Knox ( a protestant man attempting to spread the religion into Scotland) preached under its boughs. Thats part of the description and there are lyrics to the song in here aswell with chords. We could pssibly collaborate if i could do the chords on ym classical guitar maybe?
	PaulDRooney (1 month ago) hi 3rdderivative thanks for the comment and tips on my vid i'll try and take them into the account. A recent gift i got may interest you. It is a music book for scottih folk group the Battlefield Band and it contains sheet music for the yew tree with lyrics. The story they've found behind the tune is that the yew was a symbol in christianity and obviously would have a song written about it. Just thoguh i'd give you the heads up and if you want to see more of there stuff, which you may see is an interesting new mix of instruments see USEROBINMORTON's channel he's their current manager and has videos of seperate members of the band and some funny other things.
