In a rare news conference, four high-ranking LDS Church leaders called for more respectful rhetoric and state law that would protect both LGBT rights and religious freedom.
On Thursday at 1:15 p.m., Elder Dallin H. Oaks and Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about their statement and what legislation that balances religious freedoms with nondiscrimination protections could look like. Note: Trib Talk will occur one hour later than its regular time to accommodate Oaks' and Christofferson's schedules.
