This is one of the last Ames Brothers records on the RCA Victor label, from 1960. It is also one of the first I discovered by the quartet (Ed had not yet left to go solo), and it has remained one of my all time favorites because of it. The melody from this song was the theme song to the movie Black Orpheus, I believe they sing the song in spanish in that movie though i have only seen a little bit of it when it came on tv. This is a great record, in my opinion, and i hope you like it as well! You can hear tunes like this one live every night on www.topshelfoldies.com!
