The Innovation and Enterprise Research Laboratory at the University of Technology, Sydney was invited to perform a routine at the Digital Life expo in Melbourne for Samsung. We exhibited several robots - Tribotix' Hykim robot, Gavin Spargo's spider robot, several smaller "turtle" robots, and of course the Aldebaran Nao robots that you see in the video.
We developed a new programming language for robot dance that we have called "Dance Forth". We used this language to carefully encode the dance sequence to Wickid Force's choreography.
Music "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk. Dance and dance choreography by Wickid Force. Video by Kate Davis (UNSW COFA student). Robot programming by Benjamin Johnston (UTS). Beats extracted using "The Echo Nest" platform.
