In the Summer of 2014, Uncanned Music / International Anthem curators invited 3 composers to conduct site-specific performances in the bustling thoroughfare of Chicago's Polish Triangle (Division St / Milwaukee Ave / Ashland Ave, just above the Division stop on the CTA Blue Line).

This video recaps the concepts and unfolding performances of those composers and their ensembles, which took place over 3 Tuesday afternoons in June, July and August.

Featured composers (and their projects) are:

Matt Ulery (The Shepherd and the Heard)
Rob Mazurek (I Am Not An Ant Farm)
Makaya McCraven (Spontaneous Composition)

Video shot by Ben Schreiner and Mark Pallman

This project was produced with generous patronage from Michael Vettraino, and ChicagoMusic.org.
