Learn how to describe and summarize surivival data using Stata. Stata's -stdescribe- is used to display the minimum, maximum, mean, median, and total for variables including the number of subjects, number of records, entry time, exit time, subjects with gaps in their follow-up time, time on gap, time at risk, and number of failures. Stata's -stsum- is used to display the time at risk, the incidence rate, the number of subjects, and the 25th, 50th, and 75th percentile of survival time. -stvary- is used in Stata to describe variables that vary over time.
