A workshop on soil risk assessment brought over 200 experts to Helsinki in October to discuss the state of the art on how to assess the impact of chemicals on our soil.

We interviewed José Tarazona, Head of the Pesticides Unit in the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and Ilse Schoeters, Manager for the Global Product Safety and Stewardship Copper Group at Rio Tinto who explain why soil risk assessment matters.
