Completely cold blooded as I think James Bond should be played. Connery was the best Bond, Craig is the second best.

LoveLondon, Never say "ever." :p
Nah... I'm bored of Bond always having to be on personal vendettas. Just have him doing his job.

DAF has some good moments but it's basically Sean Connery in a Roger Moore Bond film.

+Ricardo Cantoral As I said now its Craig it works fine, the rest has been discarded.

+Mr Peaches Latour I know from the Connery to Brosnan era, it's all one guy but the nature of the Bond films never remained consistent. I think "canon" can only be loosely applied here.

Gray so far the closest to resembling Blofeld on screen.

Yes but he was right for this film cos it was supposed to be camp and tongue in cheek

Love this gunbarrel

+George Alvarado It's my personal favourite. It sounds so powerful and the electric guitar is perfect. The theme just screams: 'Connery is BACK!' Also, the glittering in the gunbarrel at 0:09 makes me think of diamonds.
Say what you will about the rest of this movie: Sean Connery brings a real, ruthless intensity in his quest for Blofeld in the intro above.
+James Bond "OHMSS" is my favorite Bond film; and would have preferred "Diamonds" to have more a revenge-centric tone to the material. That being said, "Diamonds" is a lot of fun; and I think it clearly shows that Connery's having a great time with the role. He's such a great smart-ass.

+1958Shemp Connery is my favorite Bond but I don't think he brings back "a real, ruthless intensity", he looks bored and out of shape in this film. George Lazenby had more "ruthless intensity" then Connery at that time.
wish connery did OHMSS..
Dale Hardiman
Yeh especially to see his emotional side at the end.

+shivanebangkok2008  no, no...Lazenby is one of the reasons OHMSS is different
the part when he strangles Marie with her bra, was censored on ITV
edward6000 it depends what time it is shown. But this is by far the most edited bond. The lift and bombe scenes
