This soup is great for colds because it has ginger, and lots of it! You don't have to eat the ginger root, but it is a warm/ spicy soup to heal your body from the cold virus symptoms. It also has onion and garlic which in three-some is very medicinal, especially for hangovers. The wholesome vegetables consist of chayote, mushrooms, and greens (any kind of mild greens that are not salty). I prefer spinach, kale, and bok choy "petsay!" Traditionally eaten with white rice, your choice. Enjoy!
