against animal abuse, Spain (INGLES)

Hundreds of people have simultaneously demonstrated against animal abuse, under the motto "Join us, we are their voice", in more than 50 cities around Spain.
They demand the toughening of the penal code and also the adherence of Spain to the European Convention of the Protection of Pet Animals.

In memory of Schnauzi, a 2 year old puppy that was tortured for longer than 11 hours by an individual who recorded the torture and published it in internet, images that shocked the social networking.

400.000 signatures were presented at the Congress in Madrid.

We feel exhausted and powerless to constantly see cases of animal abuse in Spain.

We hope to be listened by our representatives and that they remember the meaning of representation in democracy.
