Toyota's new, people-friendly, Porte model features a round, soothing body, and comes with a variety of front seat configurations that allow people who use wheelchairs to get in and out of the vehicle smoothly.

The new Porte features a remote-controlled sliding door with a wide opening as well as a low, flat floor that makes it easy to get in and out. In addition, this new model features cleverly designed small storage spaces for baggage items.

You can use a remote to rotate the Porte's front seats, and then slide down out of the vehicle. The automaker has succeeded in heightening passenger comfort with the Porte's remote control seat slide and recline functions.

The model featuring the front seat lift-up seats is recommended for people who have their own wheelchairs. The model featuring side-door access comes in multiple configurations that include demountable seats, seating for special wheelchairs, and front seating for wheelchairs of different specifications.

Toyota engineers designed the Porte to enhance the quality of life for both those who use wheelchairs and those who care for people who are wheelchair bound.
