Washington Fruit and Produce Co., Yakima, Wash., opened a new $30 million, 210,000-square-foot apple packing plant Nov. 1, 2010. The plant has the latest equipment including robotic arms stacking boxes of apples on pallets. Washington Fruit is among the largest fruit packers in Washington, packing about 12 million boxes of fruit annually. This video was shot Dec. 8, 2010.
